Privacy Policy
What we collect (very little), and how it's handled.
This policy covers evroadside.com.au, operated from Australia. Short version: this is a static website and we collect almost nothing.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our web server records standard request logs (IP address, page requested, browser user-agent, timestamp). These are used for security and to keep the site running, and are rotated automatically.
- Email. If you email us, we’ll have your email address and whatever you send. We use it to reply and don’t add you to any list.
- Charger-alert subscriptions. If you sign up for charger alerts, we store your email address, your state, and which page you signed up from, via our email provider (MailerLite). We use double opt-in (you confirm by clicking a link), every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing us.
What we don’t do
- No advertising or tracking cookies at the time of writing.
- No analytics scripts that profile you. We record anonymous, aggregated interaction events (page views and which on-site features are used) with no cookies, no personal data, and no IP address stored — solely to understand how the site is used.
- No sale or sharing of personal information with third parties.
If we add advertising or analytics in future, this policy will be updated first and any cookie-based tools will be disclosed here.
Third parties
Pages may link to external websites (motoring clubs, charging networks, government sites). Their privacy practices are their own — check their policies.
